The craft center recasts making as public performance, proposing a new typology built from tension between weight and lightness. Solid concrete workshops anchor the structure; a tensile facade of discarded dowels veils it. The dowel lattice is both structural and porous—part scaffold, part screen—merging material reuse with craft precision. The result is an architecture that sits somewhere between bunker and vitrine: resilient, open-ended, and relational. Spaces resist fixity, inviting shifting use and contingent encounters. Indeterminacy isn’t a byproduct—it’s the point.
