The craft center introduces a new architectural typology that transforms the act of making into public performance. Anchored by heavy concrete workshops and enclosed by a lightweight tensile facade, it balances resilience and specificity. The facade—a lattice of discarded dowels—provides structure and visibility, blending material ingenuity with craft tradition. This duality creates a soft, relational architecture: part bunker, part display case. Spaces are suggestive yet adaptable, encouraging evolving interactions between makers, users, and the public, embracing chance and indeterminacy as central design principles.
